Florida Junk Removal & Hauling LLC Gives Back to Babcock Ranch Area 55+ Residents with Complimentary Appliance Removal

Florida Junk Removal & Hauling LLC recently completed a community-focused effort near Babcock Ranch, providing complimentary appliance removal services to several 55+ residents in the Punta Gorda area who needed help disposing of old, unwanted appliances they were unable to safely remove on their own.

The Florida Junk Removal team handled all the heavy lifting, ensuring every appliance was properly recycled and kept out of local landfills — consistent with the company’s longstanding commitment to eco-friendly disposal practices. Usable items are routinely donated to local charities and families in need, while recyclable materials are diverted from landfills whenever possible.

“This wasn’t about a job — it was about helping people,” said owner Mark Cass. “We met folks who simply needed a hand, and we were in a position to give it.”

The effort also reflects the company’s continued expansion into the Babcock Ranch community. Mark Cass, a lifelong Southwest Florida resident, has deep personal roots in the area. “I grew up right off Highway 31. I remember when Babcock Ranch was nothing but undeveloped land. Seeing it grow into a thriving community is incredible — and we’re excited to grow alongside it.”
